Mission
The mission of the Orbital Youth Cycling is to provide a community for racers, aged 8-18 years old, where they can develop their skills and passion for cycling.
Goal
The goal of the Orbital Youth Cycling is to cultivate the next generation of cyclists through mentorship and community.
Training Schedule
Group rides will typically be held on the weekend (April – August, weather permitting), meeting at Beavercreek Community Park and riding along the Creekside trail. Rides will be approximately 1-1.5 hours long and range between 15-25 miles depending on speed.
The long distance rides develop base endurance and group riding skills. Youth riders will learn proper bike riding skills, group handling techniques such as pulling and drafting, and how to encourage each other to keep pushing on. And of course, always having a fun time!
Once registered, you will receive emails from Orbital Racing with a detailed training schedule, group ride reminders and information regarding the Orbital Crit Series (if participating in racing).
