Who We Are

Joel Holder

Joel is the true definition of a cycling enthusiast! His passion for road cycling began when he was stationed in Northern Virginia and joined the neighborhood cycling club in South Riding. It was during this time his knowledge and love for the sport became more than a hobby. Most days, you will see Joel riding around Dayton on one of his 5 bikes, commuting to work on his cyclocross bike or riding to the playground with his children. If he’s not outside riding, you can find him cranking it out on Zwift.

Joel is an engineer and Air Force officer with over 15 years of leadership and program management experience. He brings his big picture view and structured approach to providing top notch cycling events.

Katie Holder

Katie has learned that when you’re married to a cycling enthusiast, you better love it as well. Though she doesn’t ride as much as Joel, Katie enjoys riding with her family and participating in non-competitive cycling events. She enjoys watching Tour de France with her family and cheering Joel on when he races. Most days, Katie is busy keeping up with her two boys (three, if you count Joel) and riding when she finds the time.

Katie is a scientist and engineer, as well as a certified Project Manager (PMI-PMP) with over a decade of experience managing programs for various corporations and government entities. She brings her keen eye for details and excited energy to all her work.
